SoTL workshop on design aspects



The 3rd of the four planned Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) meetings took place on Friday, 26th October. It was conducted in a workshop format, where we discussed collective and individual SoTL interests, research design, and data collection plans. We are excited that all faculty so far are interested in issues that are not content specific; and want to explore broad questions related to student engagement or social-emotional intelligence to name a few. Faculty members were also encouraged to identify questions for IRB as next in the series of SoTL sessions is a meeting with the staff from the Office of Research Integrity.
