Global (Teacher) Education
Future focused research question
How can we increase awareness, exploration, and identification of actionable possibilities for transformative educational futures around the world?Description
The Global (Teacher) Education Learning Futures Collaborative brings together educators from around the world to imagine new futures for education. We will Possible Educational Futures Labs (PEFLs) as a structure to connect educators with others, explore possibilities, engage in projects, and share their work. PEFLs challenge members to move past tinkering with existing problems and toward becoming aware of, exploring, and actively engaging with new possibilities for (teacher) education. PEFLs are semi-structured, applied possibility thinking spaces that are collaborative, iterative, and sustainable. PEFLs enable participants to unlock transformative possibilities for education and teacher preparation now and into the future.
