Storytelling: Re/Learning Our Spaces, Places, and Times
Future focused research question
In what ways can storytelling be legitimized and embedded within both academia and global communities to contribute to developing multiple ways of knowing, showing, and interpreting the world around us as we collaborate within our in-between space, in favor of inclusive excellence?Description
In this collective, we bring together local, national, and international storytellers to break away from the single story and speak their uncensored truths, share their knowledge and wisdom, and explore both emancipatory and participatory explorations in order to create a pathway for transformative actions across public spheres. We seek to not only bridge the gap between academia and our greater communities through creative research paths, but offer in-between space for folks to share their authentic selves to a broader audience. We invite all storytellers to collaborate with us to bring the power of multiple truths through storying as we interact with the world around us.
